- Go to the page or post where you want the video to be added.
- Click on Add Media
- Then on Upload files>>> select files
- choose the video you want to upload and click open
- After it has been uploaded, you can change the title, add a description and caption.
- Finally, tap Insert into Post
It is as simple as that.

How To Add Video to WP Post/Page Via Url
For example, I want to add a youtube video to my post:
- Go to the Youtube Video you want to add to WP
- Tap Share
- Copy the URL
- Go to the WP page or post where you want the video to be added.
- Click on Add Media
- Click on Insert from URL
- Wait a while (less than a second), the Youtube video will automatically display.
- Finally, click on Insert into Post
How to Put Embed iFrame Code in WordPress Without Using Plugin
This is almost the same as the above method but it’s a bit technical.
- Go to the Youtube Video you want to add to WP
- Tap Share
- Click on embed
- Copy the given embed iframe code
- Go to the WP page or post where you want the video to be added.
- At the top right click on Text
- Paste the copied code
- Lastly, click on visual to get the desired result.
